Globular Cluster Comfort Review

When I opened the box, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the parts at first—but to my surprise, it took less than five minutes to disassemble the headset and install the mod. The included manual is clear, and there’s also an excellent step-by-step video guide available.

Build quality, ease of assembly, and instructions: 

I’ve tested the mod across several games to dial in the perfect fit, and while the headset now sits a bit differently on my head, finding the sweet spot was quick and required minimal adjustment. For newcomers, this will likely be a game-changer.

The mod makes the PSVR2 feel much more like the original PSVR in terms of comfort and how it balances on the head. For those worried about softness, the package includes a variety of extra padding—both firmer and softer options—so you can customize it to your liking.

One thing worth mentioning is that the overall weight does increase slightly with the mod installed.

Comfort, customization, and usability: 

Here you can see a picture of the Globular Cluster mod attached to my PSVR2, it does look less aerodynamic for sure but so much more comfortable to use.
