New Game: Summer Stars 2012
Always been a huge fan of sports games like these, in hindsight this might not have been the best of the lot but for sure one of of the them I enjoyed a lot while it lasted…
A New Game arrived in my postbox today, getting way crowded now and has a huge backlog but this is one of the game types that I can’t put on hold.
The Developer “49Games” has a lot of haters and at one point I did agree but that was like half a decade ago when they made crappy games, these days they make great ones! (at least since 2009).
Summer Stars 2012 has 18 Events, all of them are arcade style so don’t expect any realism here.
the graphics are still far away from anything above good.
The controls have got a lot better since last year’s Summer Challenge and the whole design is way better.
My first impression after 3 hours of playtime, a great game to play with friends (me and my GF) and it’s very challenging even on easy.
