RESHOOT-R Release Closing In – Are You Ready For Escalation?
The final game will be released in both digital and physical formats, which means it’s almost time to open your wallets again…
We’ve mentioned RESHOOT-R on social media several times, but this is the first time it’s getting a proper feature here on the blog. You might wonder why—well, to be honest, I’m not a fan of previewing projects that could be years away.
The game doesn’t have an official release date yet, but recent developments suggest it’s getting close.
Never heard of RESHOOT before? RESHOOT-R is the sequel, and the first game, released in 2016, was met with much fanfare and acclaim. More on that shortly.
RESHOOT-R is a horizontal shoot ’em up for the Amiga CD32, A1200, and A4000, and the team’s goal has been ambitious: to do everything as well as possible and set a new standard for Amiga games.
Have they succeeded? Only time will tell, but based on what I’ve seen so far, I’d say you won’t be disappointed.
I’ve included an older video below—while the game has evolved further since then, it’s still very enjoyable to watch.
