Sold out! : Gravity Rush
One of the best games to hit the PSvita, this is a must have title, it eventually hit the PS4 too.
**Like many others, I had been waiting—and waiting—for new Vita releases, and yesterday finally brought one of the big ones: Gravity Rush.
The game has already been a huge success in Japan, and it looks like it’s doing just as well here. I spent the day going from shop to shop trying to find a copy, only to be met with the same response everywhere: sold out!
In the end, I grabbed the PSN version instead. I actually like digital downloads, but with just two 8GB memory cards, I’m constantly running out of space. Swapping and deleting games is something I really dislike.
Credit where it’s due though—Sony kept their word this time. The PSN version was €12 cheaper than the physical release here, which is a nice bonus. If only the memory card prices weren’t so ridiculous…
Gravity Rush comes from Japan Studio, and it’s already shaping up to be a must-have Vita title.**
**It’s not an easy game to describe, especially since I’ve only played a few hours so far, but one thing is clear—it’s unique. The story and design feel remarkably fresh and unlike anything else out there.
At its core, it’s a heavily story-driven mix of platforming, action, and RPG elements, all built around gravity manipulation, levitation, and weightless movement.**
